Initial test: 28 push-ups, 48 sit-ups, 50 squats then 9 m yest. Rest today!

  1. i DID ONCE BUILD UP TO 134 PRESS UPS IN A MINUTE, not that it made me a better runner or anything!
    Percy Cerutty was all for heavy weight training and upper body strength, Arthur Lydiard reckoned on upper body strength in running was a waist of time and the added muscle weight would slow you down.
    I'm starting to regret my years of weight training as my once 10 stone 10 body has bulked out to 11 1/2 stone!
    still think a good core training program is a good idea to keep all round fitness and balance!
