1x4x800, Calling Lost and Found

What’s the number to get your running speed back? This morning’s track work jeopardizes my thoughts of a fast five miler at the Marathon Sports race in Weston.
The 2x 4x800 was a DNF on lap 5. The laps were ran at a “going by feel pace” without over exerting. 90 seconds between and took a five minute jog before lap five.

Training: am,76, 74%humid,lo energy, stop on 5th, 2.48,2.52,2.50,2.53

  1. I've dialed that number also. The only thing I've gotten in the past few year is...."the number you have reached has been disconnected. Please hang up and try your call again".....

Maybe I'm dialing the wrong number.

  2. Blame it on the heat wave (which thankfully, never reached us up here). It goes without saying, but you'll no doubt have one of those "wow, I kicked butt" workouts within a few days.

  3. I agree with Jamie. The heat and humidity around here are the cause. It has been real sticky and humid - all my runs have been slower as well. I bet the 5 mile race surprises you.
